Sep 21, 2017 11:10 AM The Lagos State Police Command who arrested a 51-year-old popular independent oil marketer of Alaka petroleum, following allegations of sponsorship of recent badoo killings in Ikorodu, has demolished the cult group’s shrine.  The alleged Badoo shrine belonging to 51-year-old millionaire and independent oil marketer, Alhaji Abayomi Alaka, of Alaka Petroleum, that was uncovered in the Agbowa area of Ikorou, has been demolished by the Lagos state government. Recall that in August, the operatives of Nigerian Police arrested Alhaji Abayomi Alaka who denied being a member of the dreaded Badoo cult group, at his Magodo residence in Lagos after police swung into action following the death of five family members who were brutally murdered by the cult group in Ikorodu area of Lagos state. Sep 21, 2017 12:01 PM Sometime last year, then 21-year-old aspiring model, Desire Benjamin Chinenye defied all odds to live and heal after an indoor gas explosion left her burnt completely and almost to the point of death. Here’s what happened; “She woke up at about 6am to boil water to bathe for work, she turned on the gas and struck the matches, it didn’t catch, then she did it again, it was then we heard the explosion. Igbo Businessman Drags Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB to Court

Separatist leader, Nnamdi Kanu has been sued to court over alleged utterances and actions that could militate against public peace.   Nnamdi Kanu An Anambra-based businessman, Dr. Richard Ndubuaku, has dragged the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu before the Federal High Court in Abuja, asking it to restrain them, their agents and members from making utterances or taking actions capable of jeopardising the conduct of election in the state. The plaintiff, in his suit marked FHC/ABJ/ CS/756/2017, applied for an order of injunction restraining Kanu and the IPOB from disrupting the governorship and House of Assembly elections billed to hold in Anambra State on November 18. Ndubuaku told the court that he is a businessman in Awka with property in Onisha and other parts of Anambra State. Sep 17, 2017 1:25 AM …Claims he saw monkey on tree Detectives  at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Kogi State Police Command, are hard-pressed trying to unravel how a monkey allegedly shot dead by a 65-year-old hunter, Clement Etila Ekele, transformed turned into his 45-year-old younger brother, Monday Ekele. The tragic incident happened on July 16, this year at Ikaka village in Ibaji Local Government Area, Kogi State, as the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Wilson Inalegwu told  Sunday Sun . On the ill-fated day, Monday, the deceased, went to the farm about 5.00am. Three hours later, about 8.00am, Clement also went to the farm with his double barrel gun. Sep 17, 2017 9:22 AM Nnamdi Kanu Our Correspondents The founder of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and top leaders of his group have gone into hiding following Friday’s declaration by the Nigerian Army that IPOB and other Pro-Biafran groups were terrorists organisations. Investigations by  SUNDAY PUNCH  on Saturday revealed that Kanu and his top lieutenants had ‘disappeared’ from his country home in Afaraukwu near Umuahia and other places he frequently visited. His father, Eze Israel Kanu, is the traditional ruler of the town. Some IPOB members, who spoke on conditions of anonymity explained that Kanu and others were advised to go underground following the declaration by the Army and the decision of the South-East governors to proscribe activities of pro-Biafra agitators in the region.
