Oct 26, 2017 6:18 AM Junaid Mohammed, a second Republic lawmaker has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari was aware of the political campaign by the former pensions’ boss, Abdulrasheed Maina, last week in Kano. Mohammed made the claim while berating Buhari for taking Nigerians for granted on the ongoing saga. The lawmaker said during the political campaign in Kano, Maina was protected by men of the Nigerian Police Force and operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS. The late Salo Roseline Tamarabrakemi A female Nigerian soldier who reportedly died in a fatal accident on October 10 in Rivers state (a day before her birthday), has been laid to rest amid tears at her hometown in Sagbama area of Bayelsa state.  The soldier identified as Salo Roseline Tamarabrakemi, was killed in a fatal accident involving a vehicle and the motorcycle she was on while going to a market at Elele, Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital - to get things for her birthday which was the next day (Oct 11). Oct 25, 2017 5:54 PM A white Mercedes Benz G-Wagon belonging to Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, was on Tuesday completely burnt down on the Oshodi-Oworonshoki expressway in Lagos. Confirming the incident, Fayose’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka said the SUV caught fire on the motion but the Governor was not in the vehicle. “No casualty recorded. Cause of the fire not ascertained yet. “There was an accident involving the governor’s vehicle on his way to the airport yesterday. Though he was meant to be in the vehicle, by providence, he was not there. “What caused the sudden fire under the vehicle is yet to be ascertained,” Olayinka told New Telegraph in a telephone chat.
