Jul 13, 2017 4:52 AM Through an official statement on their site, FC Barcelona have confirmed that they have secured the services of Victor Hugo Santana Carvalho , known as Vitinho , for Barça B on loan from Palmeiras until 30 June 2018 with the option to make the move permanent. Vitinho, who was born in Sao Paulo on 4 March 1998, signed his contract on Tuesday in the presence of the Director responsible for the Professional Academy Football, Silvio Elias, and the head of sports management in the football area, Josep Segura. Looking on from his summer break, Messi has expressed frustration over Barca's first few weeks of summer market work. Don Balon  says the Argentine also wants to see at least four of the current squad shipped out:  Munir El Haddadi ,  Thomas Vermaelen , Arda Turan and  Andre Gomes . Barca's board are in agreement with Messi over the first three, but have informed the midfielder that Gomes is staying. Gomes' agent, Jorge Mendes, has been in regular contact with Barca chief Robert Fernandez since the end of last season and during discussions over various players, he has been assured the Portugal international is a required player for next season.
