HAPPENING NOW: CAN Exposes Pastor Osinbajo, Releases Shocking Evidence Showing The Ban Of CRK, And The Retention Of IRK In Schools

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has insisted that Christian Religious Knowledge, CRK, has been removed from School Curriculum, with the retention of Islamic Religious Knowledge, IRK, under the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo-led Federal Government.
Recall, that the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, had after the Federal Executive Council Meeting, FEC, on Wednesday, clarified the allegation, while debunking the widely spread report.
However, in a swift reaction, the Spokesman to the President of CAN, Bayo Oladeji, in a widely circulated article, tendered ample evidence, allegedly revealing that CRK has been banned in Kwara State.
He said: “When the issue of the new Education Curriculum came up as a result of the visit of the CAN leadership to the Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, some ignoramus Christians who do not have the details about the CRK and IRK joined those who are beneficiaries of the evil curriculum in abusing the CAN leadership of raising false alarm.
“My people are led into captivity for lack of knowledge. Up till now, the full details of the controversial curriculum have not been made public. Even the spokesperson of the Federal Ministry of Education in a statement yesterday in Abuja admitted that she had not seen the details of the document she was asked to defend! Again, the agency that was responsible for the production of the document merely quoted parts of it. Not only that, its spokesman politicised the debate and a good example was when he claimed that the incubent Minister of Education had directed that both CRK and IRK should be taught separately to the students according to their religious beliefs.
“If the curriculum had addressed that, why should he gave the directive in response to the initial alarm raised by CAN? I was at the meeting with the acting President who admitted that there were some time bombs packaged in the curriculum. A good example was where a topic like IS JESUS THE SON OF GOD was raised? Is the Acting President too lying?
“To those who care to know, in Kwara state, the discriminatory curriculum has begun and Christian students who refused to register for it are being sanctioned with corporal punishment. Not only that, in the coming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) 2017 TIME TABLE, right from which begins on Tuesday, 4th July, 2017 to Thursday, 13 July when it ends, there is no CRK. Any reason for this? Instead, on the 13th July, 2017, it has the following; KW/BECE/ 203 Arabic CAIS, KW/BECE/204 IRK JIS; …407 ARABIC JIS.”
