Chelsea were initially in constant negotiations with Lukaku but Manchester United were swift enough to steal the player away prompting us to take a look at footballers Chelsea stole from Manchester United.
History will forever record it that Romelu Lukaku was the player Manchester United stole from Chelsea after the Blues sluggishly failed to meet up with the Belgian's agent fee thereby giving room for the Red Devils to swoop in and with their 'good relationship' with Mino Raiola, they managed to secure the signing within no time.
However, this is just a one-off. It's usually Chelsea who steal players from under United's nose. They have stolen so many, that we could actually make a list of top 5 players!

He was actually heading to Old Trafford and even agreed on a fee with Manchester United. After his father held talks with Alex Ferguson it happened that Chelsea swooped in at the last second and snapped him up.
