Fayose Meets Soldiers at a Checkpoint, Narrates How He Ran Away From the Army (Photos)

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has narrated how he ran away from the barracks when he could no longer endure the rigours of Nigerian Army training after he tried to join.

He revealed this after met soldiers at a checkpoint unannounced. The soldiers felt at ease with the Governor as he told them his story.

Revealing details of the incident, the Governor’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka said: “Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose having a tete-a-tete with Soldiers at the Ikere border today.

The governor in the chit-chat narrated how he ran away from the Mogadishu Barrack when he could no longer endure the rigours of Nigerian Army training.

The Soldiers laughed, they were at ease, they felt honoured!”
