Watch: McGregor surprised everyone with beautiful uppercut on Mayweather

Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather.
Conor McGregor was always the huge underdog going into his first ever boxing match against, quite possibly, the greatest fighter of all-time.
Floyd Mayweather now has a record of 50-0 thanks to his 10th round TKO victory over the Irishman, but he didn't have the entire fight his own way.
The Notorious One took the first two rounds from Money Mayweather, primarily because he was the more active, aggressive fighter.
But after the 40-year-old took his time to work out the southpaw, who kept switching stances on a whim, it became clear that only one man was going to win the fight.
Still, McGregor has plenty to be proud of and he certainly lasted a lot longer than many other top fighters have against Mayweather.
The fact that Mayweather could not truly knock McGregor out was something that pleased the UFC lightweight champion after the bout, but McGregor certainly rocked his opponent at one point himself.
As you can see from the clip below, McGregor caught Mayweather plush with a massive uppercut early on in the fight, a shot that would have dropped lesser men.
Money manged to take the hit in his stride, but considering that many people believed McGregor, 29, wouldn't even be able to lay a finger on the master of defence, this goes someway to proving people wrong.
Although he was fatigued, the man from Crumlin, Ireland, felt he had a little more to give in the fight before the referee intervened.
"I thought he was a little bit early with the stoppage. He should have let me keep going," said McGregor.
"I was just a little bit fatigued. It was a long haul.
"I thought we were close. I was just getting a bit wobbly with the fatigue. That's why I thought the referee could keep it going. Let the man put me down."
There's no doubt that McGregor has exceeded expectations on the night and this might be a highlight that he cherishes forever.
